Standard PMD Nymph

I began working with these patterns 30 years ago on Idaho’s famed Henry’s Fork. I perfected the final result about 12 years ago on Montana’s Big Horn. These are extremely durable woven-bodied pieces of artwork found nowhere else in the world!

Note on Hook Sizing: Tied on a 3x long Tiemco nymph hook (#200R). My #18 is roughly equivalent to a #16 standard dry fly hook in overall fly size.
